 Most of our repairs involve mechanical speedometers and tachs. Odometers can continue to slip without harming the remainder of the speedometer.
If the speedometer pegs or wavers back and forth the speedometer is about to "crash". Please disconnect the cable ASAP to prevent further damage. It is time for a repair/service of the unit.
